The Incubator

It's been a season in life where I've wanted to be in a different place than where I am and have things in life be in my timing...frustrated with not being able to change things ...striving to try to change things...So I ask and pray to God.  I got a picture of an egg in an incubator.  I am the egg. God has the controls and temperature set for when things will move forward and change.  I am to rest and wait.  Be grounded in Him and His word. He is the goal and he determines what's next.  Perhaps you can relate.  So I choose to continue to rest and let God be like the chicken on the egg...He will sit there until it's time to "hatch"...I have peace in that.
